Lottie starts up a new book club in the hope of finding new friends with common interests. The shop is owned by brooding, yet gorgeous Matthew.. The book focuses on the different members and their lives. Lottie is such a positive character and makes a great impact on the group. The chemistry between Matt and Lottie is sweet yet steamy!! I loved the fact the chapters titles are the book clubs pick of the month too.
A fun contemporary romance 4🌟

#LitsySummerCamp

It‘s cloudy & humid today at Camp Read-N-Relax but there‘s a breeze which is nice. Took today off as I don‘t have a class to teach & need to use up some PTO hours. So far I have run errands & spent WAY too much at the Japanese Dollar Store (their stationary section is one of my kryptonites). I wanted to try a new nearby restaurant but it‘s closed Mondays, so I ended up with a fish sandwich & plantation iced tea for camp lunch.

DebinHawaii ***Oh and the tagged book is my weather-related read. I think beach reads say beach weather! 🏝 3y
ImperfectCJ My son was just today asking me what places had better weather than San Diego. I told him that some people like Hawaii weather better, but those seem to be people who don't mind humidity. Sounds like you had a lovely camp day today! 3y
DebinHawaii @ImperfectCJ Yes, humidity is not my favorite but I can‘t complain too much. It has been a good day. Now home to relax & read as tomorrow is now my “Monday.” 😉 3y

Oh what a lovely read this was. A perfect summer read. The plot is simple and the ending is pretty obvious but I enjoyed the ride getting there. This was also a nice easy read whilst I was recovering in hopsital. Lottie is instantly likeable but I think Audrey stole the show for me. The ending was well written and finished the book perfectly, a fun read ideal for summer. #Netgalley 4*

Good. Even though at times the two main characters were exhausting to read about as I know it is more true to life that they face problems until they eventually get together but it just felt like there were too many problems. Also the sex scenes weren't well written so it just felt so awkward to read. ⬇️

Birdsong28 The only thing that saved this book for me was the beautiful friendships that were made between the other characters and the book recommendations interspersed in the story. Thank you #HarperCollins Publishers for inviting me to read this via #Netgalley. 3y

This was delightful, just utterly delightful and lived up to its title; I brought this along for my camping trip and really had to drag myself away from the book. The main characters are well written, the side characters are such fun, and all the issues are settled realistically. This had me smiling the whole way!
