I love reading these author notes. Yeah, Leyla is a little oc but who cares? This is an amazing series about an underwater world I‘ve never read before. London Shah didn‘t see her represented so she wrote herself a story. This is what I love hearing. Write that story.
And that is what this duology is about. How the fear of the people - by the government incensing the media - into only talking violence and revenge.
