This was a bit scholarly and dry compared to some of Gushee‘s other books, but worth reading. I appreciate his well reasoned, Christ-centered approach as he charts a possible path for those of us who are in various stages of reconstructing our spiritual lives after leaving the evangelical world.
CoffeeAndABook Hi, I haven‘t read this book yet but it sounds interesting. I‘ve found a wonderful, liberating approach to Christianity in the books by Philip Yancey and some early books by Rob Bell. Also I‘ve been meaning to read Rachel Held Evan‘s work. Possibly this is all old news to you 😂 but if not you might look into those authors. 😉💫 3y
