pickI really liked the book and would have enjoyed it so much more if I could have figured out George…he was pointless. Not too bad for a debut novel though. Another book this year that made think about how I interact with my loved ones.

Reminiscent of Diane Chamberlain‘s The Dream Daughter this is an uncommon take on time travel that has the traveler actually setting time right…so to speak. Usually, you're not supposed to change the past...but this is the antithesis of that and basically flips that rule on its head. It was only a slight bit confusing but the epilogue did help to clear up my confusion. I‘m just not sure if I wanted it to end the way it did.
picki loved the concept of this book so i was super excited to get my hands on an arc! i haven't read anything quite like this book and wouldn't pick it up normally. this was an engrossing novel that had multiple twists and turns i never expected. i enjoyed it even though i was pretty confusing for me, which is why i'm only rating it four stars. nevertheless, i would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a creative and engaging novel to read!
pickI can already see this winning the 2021 Goodreads Choice Award in the Debut category. It is hard to believe this is a debut novel. It is such a well-written story that it is hard to believe the author doesn‘t already have a dozen other best-selling novels. I never, ever give a 5-star review. Maybe a few 4.5 but I can never get myself to give
5 stars, but I can confidently say I think it deserves all 5 of those stars.
