Pickpick

Enjoyable romp through epistemology and metaphysics in search of the ‘other.‘ Well-written in the main, although there are some toe-curling sex scenes early on which, alas, once read could not be unread. More enjoyable than the presidential ‘debate‘, though.

As always, thoughtful, provocative, pacey. Tough, but rewarding.

Mehso-so

I‘ve just finished this and I was excited to begin it as I really liked the other Adam Roberts books I have read. By the end, my enthusiasm was dampened a little.

It is well written, but didn‘t grab my attention like New Model Army or Land of the Headless did. The journey is disjointed, but that is sort of the point. Will have to reread it again later.
