It's been a while since I've visited Sheriff Longmire's world and I'm not going to stay away so long this time. Not only do I really like this series (the harsh Wyoming landscape and weather, the little town, the workings of the sheriff's office, the respect Walt feels for the Native population) but my #litcrush on Henry Standing Bear is still going strong and I think I'll need to see him again soon. 😉

Loved this! I love watching Walt come face-to-face with the mystical, and Henry's reactions to it happening. All in all, a wonderful little novella, which is hardly a surprise. (And Kimama, what a treasure, omg.) #thehighwayman #craigjohnson #waltlongmire

"So you think it is giant raccoons who have found the bag of silver dollars and are leaving them in the middle of the road?" Oh, Henry Standing Bear, I adore you. #thehighwayman #craigjohnson #waltlongmire #henrystandingbear

I'm not sure how I missed this one, but I figure while I'm in a Longmire kind of frame of mind, might as well tackle it now! ;) (Also, it's bitty, and I need to make progress on this pile somehow! 😂) #thehighwayman #craigjohnson #waltlongmire

Spooky-lite novella anchored by a great friendship. Enjoyable quick read that fit the season (and my time constraints) perfectly.

My new audiobook. A Walt Longmire story that will make the wait for the next book a little more tolerable.

"How's the reading going?" "Fine. Walt almost drowned, but that's nothing out of the ordinary."
