I am loving this book so much! 75% of this lovely guide to all things oyster is a photograph and an in-depth tasting note for each variety, and a little background about the area they are harvested and sometimes even the fishermen themselves. And there are so many varieties! The writing is surprisingly lovely, with descriptions that sound like the most creative wine tasting note. It‘s my new companion to accompany me on all my fish market visits!
