Sometimes family is chosen and healing comes from the unexpected. Womens fiction at its best.

A very satisfying read. While the ending wasn‘t what I wanted, it was still excellent. Celia Fairchild‘s life is falling apart all around her. The one hope (and it‘s barely a string of thread) is a possibility of adopting a yet unborn child. When she inherits her hoarding aunt‘s dilapidated house, her adventure really begins.
Celia is in the process of being evaluated by an adoption agency. When her job in New York City implodes,in desperation she goes to Charleston,S.C.,where she has inherited a house from her aunt.Much to her horror, not only is the house falling apart, but every nook & cranny is stuffed.Unbeknownst to her,her aunt was a secret hoarder.A posse of women get involved in the restoration. At times funny, this is a story of family, secrets & sisterhood.
Excellent feel-good book. Great characters, great story. Great story about the importance of female friendship. Perfect for our book club.
Our second book club pick us up next….
I‘m looking to make some progress on the tagged audiobook and wanted to have one last peek at the fall leaves before the forecasted snow and rain moves in later today. #audiowalk
