I wouldn‘t use this book in my classroom
I had never heard of Zora Neale Hurston before so it was interesting reading about her. Great illustrations
A #PictureBook biography about Zoe‘s Neale Hurston‘s early life. The illustrations are so vibrant and captivating. The narrative is a little hard to read aloud, but still reflects Hurston‘s determination to “jump at the sun” and achieve her goals, #BBRC #LetterJ
I adored this book! So much vibrancy leaping off every page! Definitely one I‘ll buying for my kids. #BBRC
#WindsOfMarch Day 19: Zora Neale Hurston lived much of her young life #InTheWild, jumping at the sun as her mother advised. There is joyful exuberance depicted here as she catches one story after another, and transforms them in her own unique way, making the stories hers. My review: https://wp.me/pDlzr-n7Y
#ShowSomeLove Day 6: These two picturebooks seem like a good fit to #PayAComplimentDay with their brightness and exuberance. Review of tagged book is forthcoming.
