2020 Reading Challenge Journal: Weekly Edition | Cheri Merz

Beat my reading goal by 25 books! Several factors inflated my reading this year: 1) I counted books read for my curriculum review project. 2) I participate alongside my Children's Lit students in the independent reading project. 3) Pandemic meant lots of reading to deal with the anxiety and the time at home, especially lots of rereading that might not have even made it to Goodreads/Litsy.

Here's to 2021 and a new year of reading!

luvlee68 CortexVortex , this is SO IMPRESSIVE!!! i wish i could , i thought i was a pretty fast reader as a young adult but now in my 50‘s i realize i‘m more of a slow reader - i applaud you - i have challenged myself to 30 books this year - there are sooo many i have on my tbr lists , i have to pick up some speed - haha 😆 you inspire me 😊 4y

2020 Reading Challenge Journal: Weekly Edition | Cheri Merz

It was a big year for audiobooks. I only read 16 actual books (hard copy, ebook) and the rest were from Audible, Libro.fm and NetGalley audio. I had trouble focusing on visual reading this year and audiobooks were a great stress reliever.

Audiobooks: 57
ebooks: 9
Hardcopy books: 7

Reggie Way to go! Audiobooks are totally not my thing, so I‘m totally impressed. 4y
