I gave it a couple of pages and kept asking myself if I was really interested in what's going to happen later. The answer was No, not really. Of course I liked the dog, the author shows that he has experience with doggies. The rest is just your typical male saves the day plot and after the MC got his own little harem, I see no reason to continue this book.

Want to read an amazing zombie book with a MC that you cannot get enough of? Then pick up DEADBREAK!! Seriously, I can‘t help but love sarcastic characters who deliver witty tongue-in-cheek type dialogue. Jeremiah was so fun but I also liked the other characters that were introduced. Very memorable and strong! There is a serious element to this story but it is layered with tons of action, plenty of zombie killing, and many really bad jokes.

MC has this type of humor: (raising gun over his head) “and this is my boom stick”! Recognize that movie quote? It‘s 9hr & 25min into the book. If you like that movie character‘s sense of humor then you might like this book.
