My first Goodreads full review of 2017, did come along from getting in contact with Cheryl B. Evans, with a Twitter friendship. (@writtenbymom) #transbooks Cheryl's new book 'What Does God Think?' Is currently on Amazon, and hopefully soon for iBooks. 💗
Also, a great read and memorable moment of my #bestofjanuary as I read Cheryl's book on Jordan's transgender story. I've been keeping a pen pal friendship with Cheryl on Goodreads, as she continues to schedule for podcast interviews though the year. 🇨🇦
I've been in touch with Cheryl on Twitter, while reading her anonymous (by pen name) true life experiences with raising a transgender child. I also live in Ontario, with our great progress on HRT health care and handling ID complications that Jordan's case did help to change laws on. The book is a deeply hearty share of the hardships and triumphs, also honesty considering the family's feelings on each chapter in the end. Loving #transbooks wisdom!
Earlier and onwards, as I share thoughts with Cheryl on her and Jordan's story. -- My mother was once a secretary with our Toronto school's church, but was unkindly refused "We don't accept just anybody." when we moved north in 2003. While non-religious myself (pretty much non-binary in my views) supporting my mom though seeking a church community, was important on repairs about faith, assuring love and compassion with family-oriented people.
I Promised Not To Tell, is currently up for holiday discount offers. 😊🎄I did pick up another iTunes card and got my copy for iPhone reading. Having found Cheryl, with our Twitter chats at times; she's thrilled to hear I'll be checking in about the read, with thoughts and deep feels. (Note: 🇨🇦 iTunes is a dollar up, but still very awesome, counting as my first iBooks purchase!)
