this was taken just before my due date last December 🤦♀️ People regularly said how big I was 😅 such a great feeling 🙃
Early on in this book, Ballard asks you to choose a feature you love & affirm it. Then she asks you to choose what you hate & love it harder. I chose my stomach. You know what I love about it now? Everything.
this body is m i n e & I love it
Ericalambbrown I see a fierce expectant mama in this pic. 💪🏻 I remember being there almost 24 years ago. 3y
StaceGhost @Ericalambbrown 🙏🏻thank you! I‘m feeling much more fierce these days haha healing & coming back stronger indeed 💪 3y
Ericalambbrown @StaceGhost I‘m so glad you are feeling stronger! It‘s a process and we need to learn to be kind to ourselves. I‘m almost 50 and tackling body image is still a thing for me. 3y
StaceGhost @Ericalambbrown absolutely! I don‘t know if the process ever stops— sounds like it doesn‘t. The meditations in this book were excellent though and I really enjoyed them, and her exhortations to hire a masseuse lol 3y
