Ball Peen Hammer
Ball Peen Hammer | Lauren Rowe

From the USA Today and Internationally bestselling author of The Club Series, Lauren Rowe, comes a sexy standalone romantic comedy: Ball Peen Hammer. Keane Morgan wouldn't return any of my calls or texts, and I was pissed as hell about it. I didn't want to drive from Seattle to L.A. with the guy any more than he wanted to drive with me, but I had no frickin' choice in the matter--at least, not if I wanted to use his brother Dax's coveted parking spot at UCLA. Okay, so it turned out Keane was objectively gorgeous, and, fine, pretty funny, too. But did he have to be so damned in love with himself? I mean, jeez, the cocky way he flashed those dimples was just so orchestrated. And, honestly, what kind of guy uses the phrase "baby doll" with a straight face? Oh, that's right: the kind of guy who's a male stripper. Yup, the cocky jerk turned out to be Seattle's answer to Magic Mike, a stripper known as "Ball Peen Hammer"--which meant Keane Morgan was emphatically not the kind of guy I'd ever fall for. Not. At. All. No freakin' way. Well, until Keane convinced me to fall for him, that is. Which I did. Hard. NOTE: Ball Peen Hammer is a full-length, standalone sexy romantic comedy about Keane Morgan (one of four Morgan brothers introduced in The Club Series) and Maddy Milliken (the little sister of Hannah Banana Montana Milliken). Although Keane and Maddy's love story is set in the universe of The Club Series, it is a standalone novel with no cliffhanger and no prior reading required. Due to strong language and sexual content, this book is not intended for readers under the age of 18.

I liked this one better than Captain and Hero. I enjoyed the book and the others as well, but I am not a huge fan of this writer. She is more fluff, something you read and enjoy, but quickly forget about. Other authors have more staying power and more memorable for me. I will eventually read the Club series, but I am going to read something else for now and go back to this author another time

I enjoyed this book more than the second.

Keane loves being the life of the party. After a career ending injury he decided to be a stripper. He has all these nicknames and any time he is talking you wonder if the guy can take anything seriously. I gave him a break since he is 23 and a guy but to my surprise there is a lot more to Keane than what he shows everyone. Once he got together with Maddie you got to see it and I loved it.

3 1/2 ⭐️‘s

GypsyKat A so-so read, but 4 1/2 stars? Interesting. 7y

Male stripper & film student manipulated into road trip by siblings. Maddy was great but Keane aka “Ball Peen Hammer” steals the book. He is arrogant, “ebullient”, & obnoxious but underneath that surface he is more like a giant puppy looking for love and affection. A lot of the things he and his friend say & do are ridiculous & I didn‘t find the book quite as funny as it was supposed to be. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ & 1/2. #romantsy #kindleunlimited

Panpan

Characters in their mid twenties but with the personalities of 13 year olds. Disappointing.
