This book was recommended to me a while back as the quintessential novel of China. May need to get this back on my TBR. Anyone on Litsy read this one?

ErikaSB I read this in college but remember very little about it. All I really remember is that it was kind of slow and that I liked it but very few others in the class did. 8y
Yellowpigeon It's good. It's one of the four classics for a reason. But it can be very hard to get into. I found the retelling much easier to get into
