pickA low pick for me. There were times where times where the flow of the story seemed disrupted by flashbacks or internal monologues, yet sometimes those same moments worked.
The narrator, Tavia Gilbert, was excellent.

panThis would be a great book if you are an art enthusiast! The back cover got me HOOKED, but unfortunately, the story fell flat.
The main character takes it upon herself to solve this mystery, while doofing around and swooning over a toxic guy. She has no business butting into the investigation and seems to make things worse with her hiding evidence and dishonest retelling of events. It doesn't seem to help solve the mystery...
Not a bad first week of #JumpStart2022! Enjoyed the majority of the books I read this past week, with the exception of the tagged book. I was honestly bored from start to finish, and I don‘t know why I didn‘t bail. 😵💫
