This was an informative book that talked about the very serious consequences of climate change on the city of Miami. The decisions that are being made by a multitude of groups will all have long term impacts on Miami's future. It's was insightful, interesting and heartbreaking to listen to this book and know that people will be harmed due to the drastic changes that climate change and sea level rise will force on the residents of Miami.

I have to admit to only half listening to this #ALC audiobook as I was doing other things. That said, it‘s a really good deep dive into the pending climate disaster(s) seen through the lens of a single US metropolis. Really appreciated the focus on the need for systemic fixes to systemic problems, the insights into ways short-sighted business interests affect political inaction, and the focus in later chapters on environmental racism
