The reality interracial families must reconcile. You have to go in educated and stay “woke.” One cannot think the privileged life one lived will be the same experience for one‘s child. And that is difficult to reconcile even when you know that you know it. Denial is not protection; it‘s actually the opposite. Lots of thoughts on this #middlegrade novel...I‘ll hold til the review.
