pickI feel very well fed with this entry in the series. We get some important back story for the main protagonists, touch base with characters introduced earlier that are hinted to have a more significant role in future books, and set up several avenues for next adventures and possibly a villain to last more than one book? 🤨 And of course, banter and hijinks continue. ☺️ This one is particularly cozy in its denouement.🤫

pickThe Lady Hardcastle mysteries are just the right amount of cozy mystery and snark for me.
Lady Hardcastle lives in a small town with an inordinate number of murders. Fortunately for the town, Hardcastle and her trusty sidekick Armstrong are nearby to save the day- at least for those who remain. In this story more of Lady Hardcastle‘s often referred to past is illuminated, which was also refreshing.
pickI‘m such a big fan of the Lady Hardcastle series! These cozy British mysteries hit the spot with intriguing cases, great writing, and fantastic character development. I feel like I “know” Lady Hardcastle and Flo. This mystery was about murders that take place during a small village‘s movie festival in 1909. Fun, light, and just what I needed!
