so-soMara, the Brehon (mediator/judge) of Gaelic Burren, has just given birth when the corpse of the local physician is found. It is Mara‘s duty to investigate the death, interrogate the suspects, bring the murderer to justice, while balancing a new child.
This is 6th in a series that I haven‘t read, so take my meh-ness with a grain of salt. The world building was lush and evocative. I just did not care about any of these characters. 🌕🌕🌗🌑🌑
