pickThis is the second book in this middle grade adventure series. Hal has the opportunity to travel with his uncle on the California Comet across America. Of course, Hal finds himself drawn into another mystery when a young millionaires daughter goes missing on the trip. Hal races against time to find the missing girl before the train reached its final train destination.
It‘s fantastically written and the illustrations make it even better.
Can‘t wait to start this later. The second in the series (I loved The Highland Falcon Thief) MG Leonard really is a gifted writer who can just mesmerise her readers with her wit, mystery and writing. I‘ve just reserved the next book at the library too. 📚
