DNF at page 63 - this is too dark for me 👎🏻
Not as good as I had hoped, but not bad either. Suzy and her brother Lim escape from their abusive mother and head across the country. This is a pretty bleak book. Both never recover from the years of abuse. Suzy is the narrator, and she has a very negative opinion of herself, and life in general. Don't read if you are looking for a happy ending.
It was my birthday yesterday! Top 3 added to my overloaded bedside table are new and I am EXCITED
The monsters we create are darker and more broken than those we imagine.
This is Brutal from the very first page! No idea where it goes from here but damn...
New book review up! This weekend I review "True Crime" by Samantha Kolesnik!

A short but brutal story that packs a punch. Trigger warnings across the board especially child abuse. A look into how monsters/villains are made not born.

In a slumpy mood. Going to read one of the books I bought on my kindle months ago.
Hope everyone had a relaxing Tuesday 🌻
