This book! I'm a sucker for nature writing, specifically titles about great apes. This one is written by a former Columbus Zoo (Ohio, so semi-local for me) keeper who spent most of her time in the Ape House caring for gorillas. She brings them to life in these pages and touches on conservation work as her current focus in life. 🦍
Still trying to heal from this wisdom tooth extraction 😖 books and tea help. But man --- I'm hungryyyy!!
Anyone ever bite off more than they can chew? My stack of #librarybooks is a mile high and more keep coming. I read 3 quick chapters in this one that just arrived for me and I'm loving it! I want to read all the books and never do work!! #librarianproblems
