The Lumberjanes find a treasure map that leads to them to a buried prize...which comes to life and threatens to drain all the magic from the woods around them. That definitely sounds like the opposite of what they wanted! X MARKS THE SPOT...FOR TROUBLE! Ripley found a treasure map! The Roanoke scouts are eager to hunt down what they hope might be some kind of mystical hoard of gems and jewels, rad dinosaur bones, or maybe even more treasure maps (that you have to piece together to find an EVEN BIGGER prize, obviously)! It's been a while since I posted a cover/yarn pairing, but how could this Lumberjanes cover not inspire me?

This yarn colourway is called Tizzy, and it's by Felt Fusion (feltfusion.co.uk, also on etsy). The base I chose is, of course, sparkle sock, with silver glitter. Felt Fusion says their yarn is ethically sourced, and they ship worldwide.

Volume 14 has finally made it to me. I had it preordered at the comic book store - but the shipment with it in was sent by sea rather than by air so it has only just arrived, several weeks after number 15 got to me. It has taken a lot of will power not to read out of order...

This one included a brief bit of sum up, which was interesting. And the kittens from the first volume are back! This was a great reminder of what these comics are about. I'm still bummed about the artwork though -- it used be really great.
