I both read and listened to this #KindleUnlimited domestic thriller. Told in two voices, Charlotte is 35, weighed down by a frightening past, and Elle is 17, and on a mission to learn the truth to help her father. Montgomery does a good job in drawing out the secrets, pasts and hidden agendas. It‘s easy to be suspicious of both narrators and it‘s an engaging listen! I am definitely curious to read more from her in the future! #AudioColoring

This book started off really well, grabbed me on from the prologue. The middle was a bit boring thought and seemed to drag on before anything significant happened. The last quarter was where all the action happened. Completely twisted everything I thought I had worked out and was really great. #amazonfirstread #whatweforgottobury

This was a twisty read. The book jumps back and forth between the two protagonists, telling their stories alongside each other. The end was completely unexpected, and I liked that I wasn‘t able to guess what exactly would happen as the story progressed. It wasn‘t as dark as I thought it would be given the description. This wasn‘t my favorite domestic thriller/ mystery but enjoyable all around. I‘d give it 3.5 out of 5 stars.

Another slow day at work so diving back into this bad boy. It‘s available for pre-order if you have kindle unlimited I believe. It‘s about a woman with a tragic past who opens her door to a teenage girl during a storm, not suspecting that the girl placed herself on her doorstep on purpose as part of a plan to get revenge against the woman for ruining her life. I‘m about a third of the way through so far. Anyone else reading this one?
