This easily readable explanation of how math affects our daily lives was really fascinating. The section on epidemics has the beginnings of COVID, which surprised me. I will revisit this one in the future, and may make it part of kiddo‘s high school math curriculum in a few years.

A bit of brain candy now that I am somehow in a fiction reading slump. I find I can not get into a story lately. I just keep re-listening to old favorites and reading easy non fiction. I don‘t mean to say math is trivial, but Yates is such clear writer that she makes you see the reasoning with little effort.
