This was a very good sequel that focuses on the repercussions of the first. Yes, Tristan saved the world last time, but he was the one who punched the hole first. I really enjoyed the topic of trauma being a forefront topic throughout the story. Between Tristan and the main antagonist. It‘s also nice to get an extended view of the world of Alke and how important telling stories are. Also love those new goddesses. They‘re gorgeous #RiordanPresents

Quick and dirty review: easy ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. I enjoyed the first book, but now I‘m hooked into this series and heartbroken that i have to wait for the next book. I wish i was a kid when this series came out. As a Black kid I spent a ton of time living in fantasy and mythology books, but none of them featured Black characters. I‘m so glad that kids now have more choices than i did! So good!

No tristian. Don't destroy the world. I LOVED book 1.

I also aplud the designers for making this book so pink. My former town the middle school choses the “big read“ for the town, and they automatically throw out pink books. They are seen as too girly. I wish the librarian would not have tought them that. ugggghhhhh

Book 1 was so amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and the author just had a baby. Book number two and I need it NOW!!!! I will say this cover is a bit pink.
