I‘m 22% in on the audio and wondering if the audio crew played a drinking game with the word “optimal!” 🙄 Setting up to be a creepy tale, though!

This was quite a bit creepy and dare I say it scary. Harrow Lake is where a cult horror movie was filmed and where Lola Nox ends up as her father the famous director is attacked in New York. Lola meets her grandmother and begins to learn more about her missing presumed dead mother. The town people are weird and something strange is stalking her. I made the mistake of reading this before sleeping! Don't! #books

Currently reading these two, plus my non-fiction book called Eastern Horizons. #books

I won a giveaway for the last signed arc of this from author Kat Ellis and it arrived here during US publication week. It had been on my TBR for months and months!!!
I have to admit I drooled over the UK arc, designed to look like a VHS tape (I‘ll still be looking for one, believe me).
Also, the British version that‘s in the stores is a bright yellow and has sprayed pages. Such a different look.
