I really didn‘t know what to think of this book when I bought it for $1 at a thrift store. I‘ll admit that at times the author struck me as misogynistic, but the stories and feelings he winds together in this book were well worth the eye rolls. I had such strong emotions towards every character and every plot point. And I was especially satisfied that I was often surprised by the direction the story took- nothing cliche or expected.

Intense, interesting read. Evokes quite an emotional response and there are many different situations happening throughout that pull you in and leave you invested.

Five stars💗. Really a great read😎. Helen is a biologist sent to a hostile place in Montana to protect the endanger wolves😢. Helen helps Luke comeout of his shell. Luke lives in an abusive home but he is also an animal lover. I highly recommend this book.

Great character intro, namely the aside.
