Listening to this audiobook while my mom and sister watch bizarre Christmas movies. Here comes Santa Claus was fine but whatever this movie is…. It‘s annoying and stupid.

This one was so fun! Really hilarious, engagingly written, and did so well bringing Ancient Rome to life. Highly recommend!

MallenNC I want to read this one! I heard about it on a Book Riot For Real podcast. I'm glad to hear it is written in a fun style. 5y

This is a faced paced and accessible non-fiction about the woman we tend to think of as Neros mother. She was much more than that as this book shows. But what I really liked about this book was the no nonsense way the author showed how to dissecte primary sources. I would highly recommend this for people who find classical history intimidating and want an informal and informative intro. Note. Beware author uses quite a bit of profanity.
