I always believed that people who say that everything is bad for you are usually just lazy and use that justification to continue their unhealthy eating habits. However, now that I've read this book, I realized that those people are (accidentally) correct. I thought I was eating healthy...until now. We will all have Alzheimers. We will all have diabetes. It's not a matter of if, but when. This book is interesting, but it's mainly horrifying.

As someone who watched my father rapidly decline and die from Lewy Body dementia, Alzheimer‘s, Parkinson‘s and ALS - I highly recommend this book to everyone. I‘ve always believed in the preventative and healing power of food and we are fortunate to live in a time where we know more than ever before.
