pick🌟🌟🌟🌟 Book 4 of my #VintageBookishChristmas is Once on Christmas, by Dorothy Thompson & illustrated by Lois Lenski. It is a short & simple story of an old-fashioned Christmas as remembered by a minister‘s daughter. I was thinking it was just OK until I got to the part where she receives a book as a Christmas gift and, well, it was delightful and the whole thing came to life for me at that point. A lovely little story I‘m sure I will re-read.
