"You see, if you turn the pages quickly, you might rip one of them. If you do that, then obviously you'll want to go buy another copy of the book. Who wants one with a ripped page? Not you. You have refined tastes."
GUILTY! When this happens, I bring the book to work, repair the page and add it to the collection. Then, I buy myself a new copy for home.
"Characters in books, you may have noticed, rarely have to go potty."
My daughter has asked me about this loads of times. Now we know why!

I love this series! Need to read this now -- I've had it since it first came out -- before my copy of book four comes in at the book store.
This book is full of things we (Evil Librarians) don't want you to know!
Bought this when it first came out over a month ago! Keeps getting pushed down the pile. The time has come! Book 4 comes out in July!
