This book was a mathematical book that revolved around the traditional literature story about a lion who hunted with other animals but then did not split the hunt evenly or at all. This book kept a connection to the original source, the plot was simple and direct, and the illustrations did help with the text since the book was about fractions.

This is a fun and engaging book for kids as the main characters are animals and the illustrations in this book are good for math. They are clear and precise to show what the story is about. The language is appropriate and I think children would like this traditional literature book.
