This is really a very long essay so not a lot of concrete evidence but more of an opinion piece, which isn't bad but I'm saying it for anyone interested in reading this books. Overall, it's kind of depressing and I'm trying hard to have hope that we can stop our destructive race to the end. There are several pro/against type of essays with one of the best by Peter Singer. I don't agree with Singer's no meat stance but it's well-put.

This month's sustainability book club choice. Also, the first month I will be acting as the lead for the group. We haven't covered climate change and we thought we should get around to it!
