Maggie goes off on her own, once again, to find one of her friend‘s patients. Gwen hasn‘t heard from her patient in days and can‘t get ahold of her. From then on, Maggie finds herself embroiled in a game of cat and mouse with a killer who puts his victims in 50 gallon drums and buries them in a rock quarry. Very strange to say the least. If you like mystery/ thrillers I think you‘ll enjoy this series. #SeriesLove2023 @Andrew65 @TheSpineView

“FBI Special Agent Maggie O‘Dell is just starting a vacation when she gets a call from her friend, psychologist Dr. Gwen Patterson. One of Gwen‘s patients is missing on a trip to Connecticut. Can Maggie look into Joan Begley‘s disappearance?

At first Maggie dismisses Gwen‘s concern. But when the body of a woman is discovered in an abandoned rock quarry in Connecticut, Maggie heads to the small town on “unofficial” business.”

Another great Maggie O'Dell book really enjoyed this one which had me guessing until the end.

O'Dell really is a great main character and Kava certainly knows how to write a good detective series.

Read two so far and the cases were very different, which I enjoy immensely.
