Two good ideas from this book…growing veggies upside down from a hanging bucket…..and how to test viability of seeds.

My reading for tonight.

sarahbarnes I‘m excited that gardening season is starting here where I live! 1w
ravenlee I‘m interested in seeing how you like this one. We‘ve been expanding our garden every year. Of course, this year we lost half our seedlings already to a late frost last week, and probably lost the other half last night to a hailstorm so it‘s feeling a little hopeless at the moment. 1w
PatriciaU My daughter is building a backyard garden this year - her first! She grew up trailing around her grandparents who were avid gardeners. Might have to get this for her. 1w

Darklunarose @sarahbarnes we are lucky we get a summer season and winter season. We are in drought so the summer season was pretty bad. We should be planting for winter soon. Praying for rain…we need it so much. 7d
Darklunarose @ravenlee honestly it‘s very basic. I grew up with my mum being an avid gardener, and this veggie garden here started in the pandemic. But I still pick up little hints out of beginners books that I never thought of. 7d
Darklunarose @PatriciaU I hope she has lots of fun with it! Gardening is a joy:) 7d
Darklunarose @sarahbarnes it really is exciting! We are in autumn here but garden year round. I love summer produce BuT autumn winter is much cooler to garden. We are at the “what seeds shall we plant” stage 2d
