This NF picture book written by Jerry Pallotta illustrated by Rob Bolster would be great for a RA to introduce students about the concept of multiplication. Using pieces of the Hershey‘s Milk Chocolate bar as parts to represent rows and columns can make it so much easier for students to understand the process of multiplication “facts” emphasizing the problems on the pages. I think it would be nice to use real candy bar in a lesson. #ucflae3414f19

This link provides great list of resources for math application in dealing with multiplication along with text-to-text books that can be compared to this one as well.
The UDL principle 8.2 vary demands and resources to optimize challenge along with EL #47 use group information gap activities (sharing pieces of information to solve problems) would go with this.
