The end of the Strongest Under the Heavens tournament is done absolutely perfectly showcasing how strong Goku had become as he could match the skills of Master Roshi (disguised of course). After the tournament however, Goku has set off on his own to find the Dragon Balls again, and it‘s a bit slow moving to start that story.
