This is book #2 of the Extinction Cycle: Dark Age series. I read book #1 quite awhile ago & just now got to book 2. In this series it‘s now 8 years after the Great War & the country is doing relatively well with 100 outposts all over & keeping the variants at bay. But it seems the variants, along with collaborators, have been hiding well & have a lot of surprises for Team Ghost & everyone else. This book was very slow to start though.
