Impractical Uses of Cake | 
pickAlthough there is plenty of orange chiffon, lemon sponge, and sugee cake, this book is about much more than sweets! The main character Sukhin is a high school English teacher who comes face to face with issues of family, education, food, and homelessness. I really enjoyed reading it although it might not be for everyone!
