Schools are canceled here for the rest of the month and everything is closing down, including our local libraries. So we obviously had to go get some books (because seriously you can never have enough.) G found two Bad Kitty books she‘s never read and spent our whole walk afterward reading. 🥰

He liked the book. He chuckled quite a bit and was making the voices and sound effects for it. His favorite part was when the dogs started fighting and then Petunia chased Uncle Murat up the tree.

Sy is currently reading this book aloud, and he says, "I don't know how to do a (dog) whine." So I demonstrated the whine that our dog does, which is just...different. So he mimics it, and it was hilarious.

It's his first book of the year out of 17 or 24. Lmao. Have to hear our podcast to know exactly what that is. Bookish Impulses Podcast, on all major podcast platforms.

We love Nick Bruel here! ? We have the how to draw Bad Kitty book and she did an impressive job! She loves drawing, but she's not a "coloring girl" she says. ?

My seven year old daughter enjoyed this book! She's a good reader, but loves it when I read these funny books to her. I use different voices for the characters, etc. 📚

Our newest addition of this series. I was reluctant at first, but my daughter has developed great fluency reading these out loud to me.
