I love this series. This one is #11. There is an unexpected sacrifice, which totally made me cry. If you like witchcraft, elves, pixies, and vampires, you would like this series. Our favorite witch is back in the kitchen cooking up complex spells and risking her life for those she loves. Filled with action, magic, romance, and kickass characters, American Demon was a fantastic journey back into one of my favorite series. I‘m excited to see where this new path takes Rachel, Trent, Ivy, and Jenks. #fantasy

Been there 🙄

I enjoyed this one, loved seeing everyone again as they continued to grow and move forward..... the ending made me tear up a bit though, not going to lie. And I‘m very happy that when revisiting she kept Trent and Rachel‘s relationship strong and made them a team.... I really was afraid of a reversal of the epilogue of the last (and originally final book).

I seriously love cold brew. I want to thank Kim Harrison for continuing The Hollows series, I really thought it was over. I never read her book The Turn that was basically a prequel, explaining how it all came to be. I guess I should. It looks to me like there will be another after this 🖤

I‘m back in the Hollows and it feels so good 😊 I am forever thankful for Litsy, I don‘t know how long it would have taken me on my own to figure out Rachel was back in action

I'm weak. I just couldn't do a whole re-read of the series before I picked this up. But I mean c'mon, it's a fave of mine and the author resurrected the story after it ended in 2014! The new direction that Harrison took Rachel and the crew in posits a lot of fun avenues to tread down in the future. There was the beloved sarcasm, a new foil, and a heart-wrenching loss, all beautifully wrapped up as a gift to fans of The Hollows. Highly recommended!

Instead of my pre-order of American Demon, amazon have sent me some false nails... thanks guys! So I am getting a refund (I have to send this back?) and then I guess reordering!
