Today marks the 75th anniversary of the Cocoanut Grove nightclub fire in Boston. The tragedy took almost 500 lives & injured hundreds more. It also lead to changes in building code and safety standards and advances in treating burn patients. I bought this for my dad years ago and added it to my own shelves when he was purging books last year. Haven't read it yet, but today feels like a timely moment to pick it up and read at least a few chapters.
