pickIf you're confused about the mess that is British politics at the moment I'd definitely recommend this book as a clear, neutral, non-judgemental way of clearing a few things up. (I'd also recommend reading it on a beach roughly 11000 miles away from said mess...) This was surprisingly easy reading - a fun, friendly tone that laid out a good range of the political spectrum and various "battlegrounds" of British politics.
Finished my surf a bit early thanks to a sore neck (boo!) and ran up the cliff a little bit for a read (yay!)
I'll admit I actually got very littlecreading done thanks to crazy wind and being hypnotised by the waves crashing on the rocks 🌊
The rain holding off just long enough to eat my breakfast outside and finish the introduction of my latest pick-up from the library. I can already tell this is going to be a good read. (The author is one of the people behind Simple Politics (check them out on Facebook)- a pretty great source of impartial UK politics explanations.)
