The book was wonderful. I really enjoyed the plot twists and different perspectives the book provided me with. I loved that the author, Erin Hunter, didn't just write from an animal perspective and was lazy with what she wrote but put research into what the animals do, how they act, and how they respond to other animals. This is book 4 of the series, I highly recommend reading the whole series if you enjoy animal fiction.

Dakota_Telford Thorn is a baboon, he faces internal conflict with himself and his true destiny. He struggles with making the right choices between destiny and living a life with his tribe.
Fearless is a lion, he faces external and internal conflict. He struggles with the thought that he might be losing the leadership of his pride. He also struggles with a new threat roaming the lands.
Sky is an elephant, she has faced the most conflict -in my opinion- out of the

MissYaremcio Thank you for the review Dakota! Erin Hunter has been writing for years and I certainly remember reading her novels when I was in middle school! The only thing I was missing from your review was the theme and the explanation! But otherwise, keep up the fantastic work! 4/6 4y

I am beginning to wonder if Erin Hunter doesn't write all these, kind of like Ann Martin and all the BBC club books. There are jut so many between the 4 different animal kingdoms. But they are popular and they have a great cover artist.

LibrarianRyan @ImperfectCJ Thanks!. It had to be. There is like 50 of these things. @GatheringBooks, I knew about SWH books and many other series. the Paperback Crush book dashed many childhood memories when I learned truly how many kids series are written by committee.

@Cseydel. How cool. I know that is how many kids writers start out.
