pickI enjoyed Mary Fan‘s STaBD a lot. The setting is a fun mishmash of genre, so that exploring it was familiar but always fun. Anlei makes for a great main character. Mary Fan builds in a lot of good twists, some great action sequences. She also does an excellent job adding layers to her characters. I found Tai annoying, but he‘s kind of supposed to be annoying. I enjoyed the complexity to his character, though. #audiobook #MaryFan #YAFantasy
Been listening to Mary Fan‘s book Stronger Than a Bronze Dragon while walking Wicket in the park this week, and I‘ve been loving it. It‘s got a kickass protagonist with a sword, flying mechanical dragons, deadly shadows/ghosts(?) and cyborgs. I‘m going to be profoundly sad once I‘ve finished this story while waiting for the next. #YA #fantasy #steampunk #MaryFan #DogsOfLitsy
