I would definitely recommend this book for anyone who is interested in slavery in the past. This book follows a girl who lives on a plantation and it tells her story about how they were treated and how she escapes on the railroad. This book is also a novel in verse which makes it a quicker read. Overall this book is really interesting and I definitely recommend it.

MrsBabki Oh! A new novel in verse for me! 5y
