This was a thoroughly researched and detailed account of how the Mexican cartels came to power, especially the Sinaloa. The most difficult part for me, honestly, was keeping track of all the names involved: traffickers, politicians, law enforcement. They all work together to ensure Mexico remains a narco state. Kudos to Ms. Hernandez for the risk she took to get this book published.

While the daughter and the grandmother sleep, the dad enjoys coffee and quiet time before tackling another day at the happiest place on earth.
