so-soI finished my first book from NetGalley.😃
This is a quick read. Set in rural New York during WWII, with interesting characters, including a Native American. Lots of beautiful imagery and I enjoyed reading it. However, the book starts and ends very abruptly, is very heavy on dialogue, and the characters don‘t feel very fleshed out. I think this novella could have been expanded into a really good novel.
